Our Partnership with the Royal University of Agriculture: Advancing Agricultural Entrepreneurship
The Royal University of Agriculture (RUA) is one of Cambodia’s leading higher education institutions specializing in agriculture, rural development, and related fields. Through education, research, professional training, and community engagement, RUA contributes to developing skilled human resources and supporting Cambodia’s agricultural sector.
Established in 2023, the Business Center of the Faculty of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development (FAERD) promotes entrepreneurship and business development among university students and agricultural communities. The Center provides entrepreneurship education, business plan training, mentoring, market research, business consultation, and market-linkage support. It also creates opportunities for students and local entrepreneurs to showcase their products through community markets, exhibitions, and business competitions.
RUA, through the FAERD Business Center, is an implementing partner of ChorogUsan for children Cambodia under the KOICA-funded DYNAMIC Project, coordinated by Wonders International. RUA contributes its academic expertise, facilities, and experience in agricultural economics and entrepreneurship to help young people develop practical business skills and sustainable enterprise ideas.
Through entrepreneurship camps and capacity-building activities, the partnership supports university students and rural youth who have limited access to business information, professional guidance, and start-up resources. Together, ChorogUsan for children Cambodia and RUA are helping young people build sustainable businesses, strengthen agricultural value chains, and contribute to inclusive economic development in Cambodia.
