Partnership with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport for Sustainable Education Development in Cambodia
The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS) is a key government partner of ChorogUsan for children Cambodia in advancing inclusive, equitable, and quality education for children and young people across Cambodia. Our education projects are designed and implemented in alignment with the Ministry’s national education policies, strategic priorities, technical standards, and long-term vision for strengthening Cambodia’s education system.
ChorogUsan for children Cambodia works closely with MoEYS and its relevant departments at national and sub-national levels throughout project planning, approval, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. This cooperation is formalized through official supporting letters, project agreements, and other required government approval processes, helping ensure that each initiative responds to national priorities and complements existing government programs.
Through this partnership, MoEYS provides important leadership, policy guidance, technical coordination, and institutional support. ChorogUsan for children Cambodia contributes financial resources, technical assistance, innovative approaches, and project implementation support in collaboration with government institutions, education partners, schools, teachers, communities, and local authorities.
Beyond individual projects, the partnership promotes capacity-building, knowledge-sharing, effective educational practices, and stronger coordination among key stakeholders. By working within Cambodia’s existing education system, both partners seek to strengthen project ownership, support the sustainability of project outcomes, and contribute to lasting improvements in teaching and learning.
Through continued collaboration, MoEYS and ChorogUsan for children Cambodia remain committed to creating safe, inclusive, and child-friendly learning environments where every child and young person has access to quality education and the opportunity to reach their full potential.
